EPS Compaction made easy with Runi
Historically, the RUNI Screw Compactor was developed to compact EPS fish boxes for the fishing industry, but it has since proved useful for many other purposes.
The Runi SK120 screw compactor is the smallest machine in the Runi range and is ideal for processing polystyrene (EPS) fish boxes, fruit boxes and other types of EPS packaging.
The SK120 compacts light EPS boxes and packaging into dense blocks at a ratio of 50:1 and is suitable for a number of applications where there is a need to process around 30 boxes per hour. For larger quantities, take a look at the large machines in the Runi range.
Compacting EPS saves storage costs by reducing volume and decreasing number of waste hauls. The output is stackable or a bag can be fitted to the SK120 for a tidier process. The Runi SK120 also helps with storage costs of the equipment itself – the SK120 can be placed under a pallet rack!
The screw compactor is equiped with an easy to read ampmeter which makes it user-friendly and easy to adjust. The matrix and press chamber are made from stainless steel which extends the durability of the machine.
Danish engineering and design ensures the highest quality products with a proven track record for performance and strong international presence – Runi is a brand that you can trust.
